Bueno, no mucho que decir. No tardé mucho tiempo en hacerla (no para mis tiempos normales). Pero así era mi dia, algo triste.Y..por que alas de mariposa alrededor? solo las alas, las mariposas al parecer murieron. Aúnque tengan la potencia para volar, las alas solas no pueden hacerlo...

Bueno, ahora que lo terminé estoy mejor. El boceto lo hice en lapiz (creo que HB) sobre bond blanco. Lo que sea color ahí es Photoshop...por eso está en mixed media ^_^. Espero les guste.

Well, not much to say. I did it a little fast...2 days ! XD. My day, yesterday, was a little sad. And..why the butterflies wings arround? only the wings. The butterflyes maybe die. The wings can't fly alone.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactIs it possible to do a portrait of an emotion? This has been debated pondered and argued by theologians, poets, philosophers and artists for centuries. Now we have an answer, this is not a portrait of an emotion, but many. sadness apprehension, loneliness, angst, all will see themselves here. However there is more to be found if only you look to see it.
The use of muted colours feels melancholy. Butterfly wings of lost joys, but not total loss for butterfly wings are immortal, their beauty can endure for centuries.
We see the woman blending into the scenery, we feel for her, but like the butterfly even in loss, in sadness, in all we feel and do there is beauty that will never be lost if only love dedication and perseverance is there to protect it. Can we wish for less?
